MikroTik Radius Integration Guide

Provide these instructions to your clients or technicians to connect their MikroTik router to T-Com Radius Server.

1. Add Radius Client in MikroTik

Run the following command in the MikroTik Terminal. Replace YOUR_SECRET with the secret generated in the NAS tab.

/radius add address=radius.tcomtechno.net.pk secret=YOUR_SECRET service=ppp,hotspot authentication-port=1812 accounting-port=1813 timeout=3000ms

2. Enable Radius Incoming (CoA)

This allows the server to disconnect users automatically when their time expires or they are kicked out.

/radius incoming set accept=yes port=3799

3. Configure PPPoE & Hotspot to use Radius

# For PPPoE
/ppp aaa set use-radius=yes accounting=yes interim-update=5m

# For Hotspot
/ip hotspot profile set [find default=yes] use-radius=yes radius-interim-update=5m

4. App Filtering & Anti-VPN (Advanced)

To support Social/WhatsApp packages and Anti-VPN, ensure your MikroTik Firewall is configured to accept Radius Filter-ID attributes.

# This is handled dynamically by T-Com Radius via CoA and Address Lists.
